"Contrary to imagery becoming a fast moving consumer good in the 21st century, Yasemin has created images, which force one to stop and feel the intricacies of life. You cannot quickly skim through her photographs. Her eye behind the photographs encourages you to understand her thoughts and mood. Ara Güler once said “Everyone makes their life’s documentary with the photographs they take.” Yasemin is showing us her naïve world and her perspective through her photographs. Her world consists of photographs of curiosity, awareness and serenity."
